Battle of Universities (11th Hour Bid Simulation) @ Temple University

Step into the office of a General Contractor in the final hours of a public bid scenario. Teams of 5-6 (with one industry member mentor) will comb through construction documentation (drawings, specs, addendums and alternates) to come up with their best price to try and win the project. College students will come from 5 universities (Temple, TJU, Drexel, Villanova, and Widener) to compete and try to win the coveted CSI Trophy as well as monies.

Highlights Include:

• Teams: College students will come from 5 universities (Temple, TJU, Drexel, Villanova, and Widener) to compete and try to win the coveted CSI Trophy as well as monies.

• Mentors: Each team will get a industry professional/veteran to help guide them through the process and try to achieve victory.

• Actors: Industry professionals will also pose as subcontractors to answer questions from GCs, and sometime even lead them astray with bad information.
